About "Play for Paula":

"Play for Paula" was inspired from a message we received last winter that read like this "Paula has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.  She's scheduled to have surgery on February 14th. Long story short we (Central) are planning on wearing pink in honor/recognition of her. She has done so much for the game and continues to!"

This message was the inspiration for "Play for Paula".  NH Tomahawks community, players, fans, staff, joined the Central team, wore pink and scored goals in honor of Paula. At the end of the week donations were made to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

"Play for Paula" represents all the women who battle breast cancer now and in the future, a mother, a sister, a wife, a friend.  Join us on March 15th, NH Tomahawks Indoor League "Play for Paula" day.  Wear your pink and score some goals as we create awareness and raise money for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Last year Central team v Pinkerton kicked off the "Play for Paula" weekend in pink style!  Over the course of the weekend, players, parents, staff, all brought out their best pink for Paula.  New Hampshire Tomahawks donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation for participating teams.  Sportstop of NH sold socks, pink tape and gave away pink shooting string. All proceeds went to Breast Cancer Research Foundation as well as any cash donations received. Thank you to everyone who wore their pink and played for Paula.  Let's do it again on March 15th!
