2011 Summer Team Try-Outs

Please Note: If age eligible, players can try out for any level team they choose.  If not selected, the player is still eligible to try out for another team.  We will be having multiple teams at each level. (Number of teams at each level will depend on talent level and try out numbers.  (In summer 2010, there were 3 U-19, 3 U-17 (includes 1 U-16), 3 U-15, 2 U-13, 2 U-11 teams)

Eligibility:

U-19 born 1992 and later

U-17 born 1994 and later

U-16 born 1995 and later

U-15 born 1996 and later

U-13 born 1998 and later

U-11 born 2000 and later

The try-out fee is non-refundable and includes 2 nights of try-outs and a jersey.

Online try-out fee:  $30

Walk-Up try-out fee:  $40

Try-Out Dates*:  Players are required to make 1 tryout but are encouraged to attend both.

U-19: June 12 & 13, 6-8 pm

U-17:  June 14 & 15, 6-8 pm

U-16:  June 14 & 15, 6-8 pm

U-15:  May 22 & 23, 6-8 pm

U-13:  May 22 & 23, 6-8 pm

U-11:  May 22 & 23, 4:30-6 pm

* Tryout dates are subject to change. Tryouts will be held at The Derryfield School in Manchester, NH

2010 Program Success

NSCLA U-19 Purple advanced to the quarter finals and defeated Mad Lax 7-6 in OT.  The purple team was defeated 6-5 by undefeated Maryland Crabs in the semi-finals.

U-19 Gold team finished the tournament with a 3-1-1 record.  They earned the #1 seed in the playoffs but were defeated by Team Carolina in the semi-finals.

U-19 Black finished the tournament with a 2-3 record.

U-11 Purple/Gold team won the World Series of Lacrosse Championship

U-19 Purple advanced to the quarter-finals of the Long Island Classic by defeating NESLL 10-5. In the quarter-final game they were defeated 9-8 by Checkmate Long Island.

U-17 Gold finished the Long Island Classic undefeated with a 5-0 record, with wins over 2 strong Long Island teams!

Over 70 college coaches in attendance at Mid-Summer Classic.  Tomahawks had a great showing, highlighted by the U-19 & U-17 Purple Teams going undefeated with a combined 10-0 on the day.  Phone calls/emails are coming in!

U-15 Purple team avenged their only 2 losses of the summer by defeating NESLL (2 times) & Pioneer Valley in their undefeated run to become the NEYLAT champions.

U-13 Gold team finished an undefeated tournament by winning the NEYLAT championship game in sudden death overtime.

U-13 Purple:  Undefeated Warrior Shootout Champions.  Undefeated at the Crimson Youth & the NEYLAT. Their summer record stands at 19-1-1

U-11 Purple:  Bryant Bulldog & Warrior Shootout Champions, 4-1 at the Crimson Youth

U-17 Purple: King of New England Champions
